CBD mocktail recipes: six easy alcohol-free drinks

Quick answer

The simplest CBD mocktail is one can of Little Rick poured over ice with a fresh garnish. For something more special, our favourite is the Mint & Lime Nojito: muddle mint and lime in a glass, fill it with crushed ice and top it with a can of Mint & Lime. Below are six recipes, each made with one 330ml can (32mg of full-spectrum CBD) and ready in under five minutes.

The recipes

Each recipe uses one can, so each drink contains 32mg of CBD. The FSA advises healthy adults to limit CBD from food to 10mg a day, and doesn’t recommend CBD for anyone pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under 18. If you’re making a round for guests, make sure they know it’s a CBD drink.

Tips for better mocktails

  • Chill everything. A cold can and a cold glass keep the fizz.
  • Add the can last and stir gently, from the bottom up.
  • Never shake the can. Shake juices and coconut milk on their own, then top with the drink.
  • Garnish properly. Mint, citrus peel or fruit make a mocktail feel like a cocktail.
  • Watch the sugar. Raspberry Coconut is zero sugar; juices and cordials add sugar.

“Loved it. Refreshing drink that’s hits the spot and chills me out!”

Frequently asked questions

What is a CBD mocktail?

An alcohol-free mixed drink made with a CBD drink or CBD ingredient. Ours use one can of Little Rick as the base, so each drink has 32mg of full-spectrum CBD and no alcohol.

How do I make an alcohol-free mojito?

Muddle 8–10 mint leaves and half a lime in a highball glass, fill with crushed ice, then top with a can of Little Rick Mint & Lime. See the Nojito recipe above.

Can I make CBD mocktails in a jug?

Yes. Mix the non-fizzy parts (juice, cordial, fruit) in the jug, then top each glass with its own can, so everyone knows they’re getting one can’s worth of CBD.

Can I add alcohol?

We make Little Rick as an alternative to alcohol, so these recipes are alcohol-free. Read Can you mix CBD and alcohol? before you do.

Which flavour is best for mocktails?

Mint & Lime for mojito-style drinks, Piña for creamy tropical ones, and Raspberry Coconut or Raspberry Lemonade for spritzes. The Mix Pack has all four.
